Kit & Board
Sounds
How the pads work
Tap a pad to play its sound; hold to sustain. The circular Perform / Edit button (top-left) flips the whole board between clean performance pads and edit mode. In edit mode each pad splits into quadrants: ● record, ✎ edit, ♪ sounds (opens this tray), and ✕ delete. Press-and-hold a pad in edit mode to open its mood joystick — drag between WARM, AGGRESSIVE, ETHEREAL and HOLLOW to reshape the pad's character. Recording: tap ● then ■ to stop, or press-and-hold ● and release. Use Kit & Board to load kits, save your board, or build one from files.

DRUM MACHINE
Drum machine
Click or drag across steps to paint a beat. Space plays/stops from any tab. Add or remove instruments below. Patterns auto-save; the A/B/C/D slots become blocks in SONG. The view follows the playhead as it plays.
SYNTH
Playing the synth
Perform (the round button) drops into a fullscreen, thumb-friendly instrument: big keys, glissando by sliding, a beat toggle, tilt-to-slide, a 👻 play-along guide and a loop recorder — everything in one row, with extras behind ⋯.
Down here in edit you dial in the sound: pick a VOICE, shape it with ATTACK/DECAY/SUSTAIN/RELEASE, CUTOFF/RESO/ECHO, then audition on the short keyboard. Type on your computer keyboard — A-row = white keys, W-row = black keys, Z/X shift octave. MIDI keyboards connect automatically. Space runs the drum beat under your playing.
The loop recorder below captures a bar-locked phrase you can quantize, export to WAV, or save as a KEYS brush for the SONG assembler.
LOOP RECORDER — capture what you play, loop it, export it
SONG — the assembly area
Song assembler
Pick a brush, click bars to place blocks; click a block to remove it. BEAT blocks are your A/B/C/D patterns, KEYS blocks are saved loops. Space plays. Export renders the whole arrangement offline. Vocals live in Canta now — record and layer them there.
